about

This song is a brief account of our former Irish-Canadian keyboardist who had to leave the band in order to pursue his Gaelic studies at Harvard. He was and is dearly missed and this song deals with integrating into modern multicultural society, particularly those who have multiple backgrounds/ethnicities

lyrics

He was a troubled lad and he sailed out to sea
Time spent on the run, the best we’ve ever had
If we came into this open place
You’d better’ve made it quick
‘Cause when I’m pissed the fire is lit
The world better prepare

Runaround, midnight ready for the show, take a big swig on we go
Holes in his socks and underwear, doesn’t give a fuck it’s Greg O’Daire

Woah oh! The lad had to go
To free his troubled mind
Whoa oh! The lad had to go
He left it all behind
Slainte Mhaith!

Degenerates hark! The Prophecy
Irelands’ shores been calling thee
Was it all you’d ever expect?
Integrate now, inspect yourself
Welcome to the multicult!
Here we fuckin go!

Chorus

And it won’t let go
And we’ll walk these forsaken shores
Until we reach
The
Other
